I still can’t get over the fact that it’s deadly cold outside and I’m decorating for spring (cue the crazy-eyed chuckle)! If it wasn’t for the Easter festivities in March, I probably wouldn’t have pulled out the spring flowers just yet. Can we just move Easter into the end of April, then perhaps I'd feel better about it all…haha!?! I guess that’s setting me up for failure. In any case…I had a choice…to decorate or not to decorate…what do you think I chose ;)? Of course I caved in! Despite the snow and frigid temperatures, I gave in and made my house look like it was on the West coast instead! I’m still shaking my head with disgust at the weather though. I won’t go down that easy. Maybe next year I’ll go to Hawaii from January to April and when I come back, spring might be here.

I also have to apologize for the late Easter décor in some of my photos. I was going to post this before Easter and then life got busy....and so it may feel a little strange to see eggs and bunnies…but hey, who says eggs and bunnies can’t be around after Easter is over? It’s still spring after all, right? :) Let’s embrace the bunnies and eggs, ok?
These wood slices on my dining table have to be one of my favorite things! I almost always have them on the table in different configurations. They can be the backdrop during any season!

As you can see, in all of the pictures, florals are the main theme. I added touches of flowers or plants in every area. Even that succulent wreath on my pantry door. I can't wait to get outside eventually and start fixing up my porch and patio. Those DIY rubber boots are still waiting to take there place outside! Until then I will wait for the long awaited mild weather to arrive.
