Merry Christmas and a great big HELLO to everyone from Wild Rose Country Home...aka, me, Jenn ;)! Remember me?!? Long time no chat!!! I'm so sorry for the long break I took. I've been battling an unknown illness and have had very limited use of my hands....hence the blogging difficulties. I hope you guys can forgive me!!! I'm under going tests to determine what's happening, so I would totally love your prayers! Thanks so much for understanding....
If you're coming over from Bindu's website, houseofvdecor.com WELCOME!!! I'm so glad you're here! :) Be sure to scroll to the end of my post to see who I'm linked to for this Christmas Blog hop.
But...let's move on to my favorite topic, DECOR! For this main floor Christmas tour, I'll start in the entry way/foyer. I've used my good days these past few weeks to put together a simple and I'd even say a more Scandinavian Christmas this year. This beautiful sign above is from a wonderful local shop called Willow and Grow. You can find her on Instagram @willowandgrow. When I saw this sign I had to get it! It was exactly what I wanted.
I was committed to a neutral Christmas this year until we received a beautiful red poinsettia. I has to add it in the entry space. It was too beautiful to pass up!
These choir people have been in our family for years! It represented my husband and I and our two daughters. A dear lady makes them each year and we may have two additional boys coming our way this Christmas to represent our two son in laws!!! :)
I also love my wooden Manger scene from BC made for me by Norms Wood Shop. It's made from oak wine barrels and is the perfect touch for the season.
Ok...let's head into the living room.
Christmas in the Living Room
I had no energy to put together my huge Christmas tree this year, so I opted for the very light and thin cashmere pencil tree. I added some gorgeous eucalyptus stems from Ikea and a few clear balls along with some family favourite ornaments. I kept it very neutral and hygge in this space this year and I LOVE IT!! Simple has been working out great.
I bought this driftwood garland with mini evergreens last year from Homesense and I love it!!!
You may notice my new couch set! I've been needing a more comfortable, reclining set to fit our lifestyle and these awesome leather pieces are from Wayfair :)
I had to add a rocking chair for when my first grandbaby arrives in March :)
Our tour continues! Let's head over to the dining area!
Christmas in the Dining Area
The pom pom garland from Anthropology is probably my favorite thing in this space. And you should see it at night hen I light up the candles! I posted a tour on my Instagram Highlights titled "Scandi Xmas" if you'd like to check it out. The hygge feelings are all around in this space. Greenery, snow whites, candles, food and friends gathering...it doesn't get any better than this.

Christmas in the Kitchen
The last stop on this main floor tour is the kitchen!
I always decorate my island with this awesome tiered tray filled with festive goodness.
